Dear Mountainview Elementary Community,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Mountainview Elementary! As we begin another year together, we are filled with excitement about the opportunities ahead and grateful to have such a wonderful community of students, families, and staff.
This year brings a particularly exciting new beginning as we look forward to enjoying the improvements to our schoolyard and playground. We are especially proud of our new park, created through our partnership with the City of Deux-Montagnes. These spaces will provide our students with new opportunities to play, explore, connect, and create lasting memories together.
At Mountainview, we believe that every child deserves to feel known, valued, and supported. We strive to create a school environment where students are encouraged to be curious, take risks in their learning, persevere through challenges, and celebrate their growth. Our Mountainview Cares philosophy is at the heart of who we are, guiding the way we treat one another and strengthening the sense of belonging within our school community.
Our dedicated teachers and support staff bring enthusiasm, expertise, and compassion to their work each day. Together, we are committed to providing engaging learning experiences, fostering positive relationships, and helping every student develop the confidence, skills, and character they need to succeed both in school and beyond.
As principal, I am incredibly proud of the spirit that exists at Mountainview. It is a place where children learn, friendships grow, challenges are overcome, and every individual has a role in making our school community stronger. I look forward to continuing to work alongside our staff and families to make the 2026–2027 school year a meaningful and memorable one for every student.
